Chances are, you’re living a luxurious lifestyle because you worked extremely hard to earn it. Along with all your hard work and dedication, you also got yourself one heck of a car. Whether you’re driving something like a BMW, Mercedes, or Tesla, or something more exotic like a Lamborghini, Ferrari, or Bentley, you still need to maintain the car. We’re here to help. Continue reading to learn how to maintain your luxury car.

Get a subscription to a local car wash

Have you ever seen a luxury car that was covered in dust, mud, and salt? It looks filthy, doesn’t it? It’s even worse if that’s your car. To avoid a filthy car, you should get yourself a membership with a local car wash. Many car washes offer a great deal that allows unlimited car washes for members—the best part is that the price isn’t unreasonable. That way, you can take that additional money and save, invest, donate, or spend it elsewhere.

Be a careful driver

Of course, you should be a safe driver regardless, but we know it can be tempting to see what that Lambo can do. However, don’t forget that some luxury cars are really low to the ground, which is both good and bad. It’s good because you drive the car how it’s meant to be driven. On the other hand, you risk bumping the bottom of your car when going over bumps and hills. So, even though opening your car up is tempting, just do so sparingly––otherwise, you can’t say we didn’t warn you.

Get yourself some extra cleaning accessories

To help you keep your car looking fresh after washes, you should have some extra accessories like microfiber cloths to get any leftover water off. One of the best parts about luxury cars is the soft leather interior; however, you need to take care of that leather. So, we suggest getting some leather conditioner for your seats and dash. Check with your car’s manufacturer for the best results.

Don’t forget about your basic maintenance

The awesomeness and price tag of your car doesn’t override the need for basic maintenance. Whether you’re cruising in a Rolls Royce or Aston Martin, you still need an oil change, brakes, and good tires. If you take the time to do some regular maintenance, your car will last a lot longer. Luckily, you don’t have to go to the dealer to get something like tires. You can get great tires whether you’re in Fayetteville, NC, Augusta, GA, or Colorado Springs, CO, and of course any major cities.

Next time you take your supercar out, do a quick walk around—both to acknowledge how awesome your car is and to check for some typical maintenance signs. You should look at your tire treads, the paint, and everything in between. Now, get out there and drive that car—just keep your distance.
