Titleist Vokey SM8 Wedge

This product was recommended by Abby from Wellpcb PTY LTD

As you would expect, the iconic Vokey is one of the best golf wedges on the market. This boosts MOI (up to a 7 percent increase in the higher lofts), producing a more solid feel, improved ball flight, and a clubface that wants to square up at impact for more consistent results – which has been achieved by lengthening the hosels and counterbalancing that weight with high-density tungsten low in the toe. The patented Spin Milled grooves remain, but there are lots more wedge options to choose from now. Golfers can select from six Tour-proven sole grinds – F, S, M, K, L, and D, as well as four finishes – Tour Chrome, Brushed Steel, and Jet Black, plus the tour-preferred Raw finish (custom order only).

Callaway Jaws Mack Daddy 5 Wedge

This product was recommended by Abby from Wellpcb PTY LTD

The Jaws MD5 wedges are constructed from 8620 mild carbon steel, and the Centre of Gravity (CG) of the wedges is precisely placed to create a soft, crisp feel. A big focus has also been on the wedge’s shape, with Roger Cleveland using his 23 years of experience to create an appealing profile from all angles. Anyone going through a fitting process – which is a must, given the wide variety of loft and grind options – can be confident that they are equipped with the best possible tools to hit those scoring shots into and around the greens.

Ping Glide 3.0 Wedge

This product was recommended by Abby from Wellpcb PTY LTD

With a tag line of ‘modern tradition,’ Ping’s new Glide 3.0 wedges attempt to bring together classic looks and up-to-date performance. They do this visually through a clean, rounded head profile with tapered hosels and a little more offset to provide better ball capture. The latest model might not tempt anyone already playing with Glide 2.0, but they are a comprehensive offering, nonetheless. While they are undoubtedly one of the best golf wedges for beginners, Glide 3.0 wedges cover more than enough loft, bounce, and grind options to suit all player types.

TaylorMade Golf MG2 Wedge

This product was recommended by Sean Harris from Swing Coaches

A real easy choice to make is selecting this brand when choosing wedges, firstly they come in left or right-hand alignments, a broad selection of bounce and loft degree. A very smooth wedge regardless of your swing approach, and technique. This light, beautifully crafted wedge an ultimate find and should definitely make its way to your golf bag this season.

Vokey SM8 wedges

This product was recommended by Peter LaGregor from Under Par Goals

In 2021, the best wedges on the market are the Vokey SM8 wedges. It’s rare that you see any substantial steps forward in technology when it comes to wedges (as compared to other clubs like drivers), but Titleist made some significant changes in the SM8 model, especially with the higher lofted wedges. When I took my first swing with the SM8 60-degree, the result was a lower, more controlled flight that has always eluded me with high lofted wedges. When you aren’t throwing the ball so high up in the air, you have more distance and accuracy control and that means shorter putts. The SM8 redistributed weight up the hosel on the 58 and 60-degree wedges, resulting in a center of gravity that is actually in front of the face on these clubs. This is exactly what you want on higher lofted clubs and what gives you more control. The best part is that these changes will help any skill level golfer without the need for any swing changes. The Vokey SM8 is a must try wedge.
